Hoovie's Garage - Here's how much it cost to fix my broken Bugatti Veyron

Hoovie has fixed the broken Veyron and brought it back to Kansas.
I'd say the spirit of his channel and his love for Hoopties is alive and well (even though he has sorted most of the issues on his way back to Kansas and before the trip).

Have you considered not breaking it

My problem with channels like these are they fix the car and then you never see them actually drive them more than a few feet. I was looking forward to seeing them really show the car in motion and how it handles and it’s quirks and failures but I soon realized they don’t do that because majority of these projects aren’t drivable at all and just drive views. Once they get done, they just stick them in the back of a warehouse like it’s Area 51 at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark

His channel was so much better when it was real hoopties and interesting hijinks, like buring the 1983 Chrysler Lebaron and digging it up a year later. Now it's just another rich person's plaything channel like so many others.

He still buys hoopties. I disagree with you, if anything his channel has improved. He does a large variety of content including dumb hijinks. Just because he’s got more money and leverage doesn’t mean his channel has gotten worse. He’s still the same guy.

Almost all automotive YouTubers from the pre pandemic era have gotten boring with “HERES MY NEW SUPERCAR/HYPERCAR, sucks tho bc, they equally need to go more upmarket to compete with other YT’ers but loose more of the relatable factor to the average viewer.

I couldn’t sit still for 30 min just to find the answer. Think it ended up being $40k

About that out of pocket and probably 56.8k if taking into account the work done on the transmission that he didn't pay.
