I’m 16 and doing an apprenticeship but I feel down and I want to college, what can I do?

Hi, I started an apprenticeship in September and thought I would like it the atmosphere is pretty toxic and I don't feel welcome at all and I don't want to continue anymore. I want to college however I don't know if there's any options for me on where I can go because I have been turned down by 3 colleges and one last college told me they'll pass it onto the addmissions team and try. Does anyone have any advise? Thank you

Is English your second language?
StatementForward87@reddit (OP)
yes why?

"I want to college" is not proper. If your grasp on English isn't great then how do expect to be able to complete college level courses in the language?
You do what you gotta do, for sure.
However, don't quit without finding something.

Don't listen to this comment. Your English is fine.

For day to day conversation maybe, however when strict grading is applied missing crucial parts of sentences like "to go to" will count and will matter

I assume this would be going to college to do A-levels or a BTEC? Do you have GCSEs or equivalent qualifications?
StatementForward87@reddit (OP)
yes I have passed all my GCSEs

Ah that’s great! Maybe have a look at the national careers service at courses to see what’s available? :here
I imagine there may be a bit of an issue because most courses will be halfway through the first term right now. You can also talk to a national careers service advisor who will be able to give you some advice on getting into college.

Why did the colleges reject you?
What is your apprenticeship in?
