1440p minimum GPU

I’m building a work/light gaming PC for my wife. I was looking into a rx 6600 because she plays indie games and at most AA games like satisfactory. Would a rx 6600 be enough to handle 1440p at 60+ FPS? Or other recommendations for GPUs? The budget was $200 on the GPU, $250 max.

Do you plan on RTX?

I’ve always heard that Radeon is better for the money, but was looking at the 3060 which has 12gb VRAM and right around my budget. Could it handle 1440p for not too demanding games?

Check benchmarks for the games you want.

Your best bet is to look for a used 6700XT/6750XT then. They are 1440p cards with 12gb of vram.

At that budget, the 6650XT would be better value. It can run 1440p at 60+ fps but that will depend a lot on your games and what settings you play at.
