Best uk flight school

Hi I'm 18 and I wan to go to a really good uk flight school. I'm hoping to do an intergrated atpl. So far I wanted 13harris or skyborne especially as I want to work for British Airways as a pilot. Is there a recommended flight school that I missed or should I chose 13harris or skyborne?

Is this dry British humor or an actual oxymoron?
Go learn to fly in a glider. Lots of cheap club glider flying with youth pricing. Then add on TMG. Then PPL. *If* you actually get that far look into training at places that don't have fancy advertising and make it look like they hire airline pilots. Hint - none of them will. They sell expensive training towards the dream of "I want to fly for BA one day." They win when you train. They have zero loss if you never get a job.

Thanks, I made a bit of a typo but on a serious note Would modular be better than intergrated?

The consensus on PPRUNE is that modular is cheaper and more flexible than integrated. Yet, you can do modular back to back and be just as compact as integrated.
Sounds “better” to me.

L3 are shit. My friend is with CAE and he says they have a shortage of instructors and unsafe practices

Avoid L3 like the plague, I've heard good things about skybourne. FTE Jerez are worth looking at also

Why avoid l3?

Massive delays, as a self sponsored student you'll be back of the queue behind MPLs and airline sponsored guys

However I think they’re fleet is good and so are the services sooooo

You'll be flying more of less the same aircraft no matter where you train. PA28/C172 and then DA42, I really wouldn't base your decision on that Find as much info from former students as you can, L3 and CAE are notorious for delays and also being an utter pain to deal with as they're massive multinational corporations

Which do you think I should go to

Out of all the uk ones

This forum is probably the best info source for EASA/UKCAA training. I went to FTE and would recommend. They're based in spain but do UKCAA training as well as EASA. All training done on site in Jerez Spain and food and accommodation are provided. I can't tell you which UK school to choose as I haven't been but I've definitely heard much better things about Skybourne and Leading Edge than L3 or CAE

Thanks!
