Replaced hardware

Does anyone use a company to sell their replaced equipment to? I have some equipment i would like to remove but it is not old enough to just toss out. What has your experience been like with the company?

Sell? Lucky to get it hauled away for free

In our country we have few community/organizations that:
wipe -> repair/fix/replace -> install Linux -> give to people that can't afford a computer
also schools always have need for some additional equipment.
for server/network stuff, I bet students in IT will love to have it at home to play around.
So if you don't need it(for testing), think if you can donate equipment.
You can also use donation as publicity (Local news paper: Company X donated school Y a bunch of ...)

Yeah i wouldn't mind doing this, maybe see if the local school can use any of it.

I did this once, i refurbed a bunch of windows machines and the schools turned it down because they weren't macs...

OMG .... I worked long time for school and repairing/using donated stuff was for me many times the only solution to get some equipment.

Use it for a test environment.

I have stuff for that already and some of it is a bit out dated or being replaced with a different brand and setup.

Consider donating to an organization like https://www.computerswithcauses.org/
Tax benefits could be about as good as selling the stuff

I will check them out and see what they take. Most of the stuff is like WAPs, older switches. Not much in the computer department until after Oct 25th when Windows 10 is EOL.
