When is the right time to send Christmas cards?

I have written up the Christmas cards that I’m going to send, but I think it might be a bit too early to send them. I’m thinking of sending them at the start of December, although I was wondering what was everyone’s opinion on when it’s appropriate to send a Christmas card.

Never. What a waste of time and money.

The day after Thanksgiving for me.

Start of December, second-class stamps; anything card-shaped arriving during Advent is more than likely going to be a card; if the recipient has a birthday in December write do not open till (birthday) if they happen to have it on Christmas day consider addressing it to Birthday [appropriate pronoun].

I would also do it at the start of December. Feel like if you send it now, I might think it’s a thank you card or other letter of some sorts (especially as I won’t know who it’s from) and open it straight away!
But honestly, do whatever makes you happy - it’s still a nice gesture nonetheless.
