No shit, did no one remember the law of conservation of energy? We go on about heat as if it can be solved by AC while ignoring that heat can just as easily become motion. The hotter we go, the faster the wind and the more rain that can be evaporated, transported in the air and dumped down again.

SS: Every Atlantic hurricane was strengthened by climate change, most of them by at least one full step on the Saffir-Simpson scale, and elevated two tropical storms into hurricanes. They calculate that the effects of climate change added between 9-28 mph (14-45 kph) speed to each hurricane. Given how much of the world's population lives in hurricane-prone areas, it may soon be impossible to maintain a stable life in those areas and may trigger unsustainable migrations to other areas, resulting in greater instability in those areas as well, which is just one more step towards collapse.
