Questions on upgrading from AM3 to AM5

Not a noob but its been awhile since i've last built my pc.
My current pc is due for an upgrade, its a ryzen 1700 , with a 500gb samsung nvme (OS and games), 3070 , 750w seasonic prime and a couple of other SSDs and HDDs, it is running on wind 10?
I am in the midst of building a 9800x3d pc using a combination of parts of my current pc and ordering in the latest upgrades.
Processor: AMD 9800x3d Motherboard : X870e taichi lite Air cooler: thermalright Peerless assassin 140mm Ram: z5 neo ddr5 64gb 6000mhz Main nvme: crucial t500 1tb gen 5 nvme GFx: (Donor) palit rtx 3070 gaming oc PSU: (Donor) seasonic prime 750w Secondary storage 1: samsung 870 pro 500gb Secondary storage 2/3/4/5: a bunch of ssds and hdds Case: Fractal North XL
Question is: would it be possible to migrate over my current pc environment or do i have to reinstall everything?
If yes, does it mean that the older nvme would have to be my main drive instead of the crucial t500?

WYM AM3, you've got an AM4 PC there. Why not just a 5700X3D in there? Can handle any GPU on the market.
You only really need 64gb if you're doing heavy dev work, 32gb is gonna be fine for most people.
Buy yourself a 5070 or some other high end GPU when it's out.
And that's assuming you're on 1080p. At 4K you're so GPU limited the differences are gonna be minimal.

Yea sorry AM4, reason why i went with a 9800x3d instead of a 5700x3d is because i only upgrade my mobo pc combo once every 6-7 years. My previous pc to my current one was built almost 15 years ago ( 1st gen nehalem core i7), i find it easier to just upgrsde to a upper mid range card every 2-3 years than to spend a huge amnt on a higher end GPU ( and hope it last 4- 5 years). Besides most gpus dont last 3 years ( amd hd 5850 died in 2 years, same for hd 7850 , gtx 960 3 years, gtx 1060 lasted 3 years but didnt die, then i upgraded to 3070 and its been eith me for 2 years)
That being said, i also have a plan to get at least a 5070 if not a 5080 when it comes out.

Yeah but the 5700X3D is gonna be able to handle another 4-5 years no problem. It can handle a 4090, I see no reason it can’t handle a 5080, 6070, whatever.
If you’ve already gone hard on your AM4 motherboard, just double dip on it. It’s still good for it. (Assuming it’s PCIE 4.0 - I suspect it is)

Sadly 2 ram slots on my x370 hero board have died, im running at half my max ram. I can still game on it, but im nt waiting for the other half to die

But yeah I’d probably go $189 B650E riptide + 9800X3D + 32gb rather than what you listed. The taichi is a bit excessive.
