When do you throw your teabags?

I like to keep my teabags in my tea and suck them like a lollipop when done before throwing it away.

I drink a decent amount of tea when I'm at work. One of my colleagues collects used teabags so she can compost them so I save the used teabags and give them to her.

If serious then that's too many tannins, teabags (i.e. not looseleaf) is already pretty low quality stuff, letting it stick around for longer than needed is an insult to your taste buds.

Dry used teabags are actually good for putting in shoes if they are prone to getting smelly!

If it's a common problem with the tea leaves then take yourself to a fortune teller.

They'll read the leaves and warn you of your future pain.

Just as long as they don't mind bending down that far.

In my leaner student days I would pour the hot water, quickly give the bag one or two stirs then remove it to be re-used later.

But this is just wrong.

I have a teapot that holds 2.5 mugs worth. First pot 2 bags but then each refill just add 1 bag. At the end of the day(or start of the next day) empty all tea bags into my food waste bucket for the compost.
