Might as well just allow full contact soccer and make it entertaining

Great show tbh

Cynicism? Seems like the correct approach >!They beat us because the field was wet from the rain / referee's wife is Albanian / we are not used to "Soviet school" football!<

3 on 1?

Who even cares they expanded the world cup to 48 spots and only 3 extra went to Europe. Who in their right mind wants to watch Germany vs Nepal
wisdomHungry@reddit
The guys from Nepal.
Dear-Potential-3477@reddit
They want to watch Nepal lose 11:0 to teams they have no business playing. Qualifying to the world is supposed to be for only the best teams
Crisbo05_20@reddit
I mean looking at how San Marino played some stronger teams in euro qualifiers, cases like Spain drawing against Saudi Arabia are possible.
Heck Saudi Arabia literaly beat Argentina last World Cup despite Argentina going on to win tournament.
Is 11:0 Germany Nepal possible? Yeah. But so is 2:1 or 1:1.
wisdomHungry@reddit
I think it is best to have more teams. More countries involved, more people watch it. :)
Dear-Potential-3477@reddit
You dilute the competition, There is the reason the premier league isnt 48 teams
Sector3_Bucuresti@reddit
Watch out for a group of Switzerland, Honduras, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand. Exciting stuff.

Germany Turkey Israel Belarus Moldova. Not Balkan but very close to being Balkan 2.0
Dry_Hyena_7029@reddit
Don't get it. Turks don't like Israel, Germans killed them. But why Belarus and Moldova?
Harmalin@reddit
Finally Albania has a nice group. Looks like we can do something
taYetlyodDL@reddit
That's not a group bruv....
Harmalin@reddit
I miss read it
TomatoVEVO@reddit
If FIFA wants big fucking sales put the entire Balkans in the same group. I'll find the money to pay for VIP seats to watch Serbia v Albania/Kosovo
Historical-Ad2780@reddit
Imagine Serbia playing with an Albania and Kosovo mixed team, add the Albanians playing for Macedonia and Mr. Ademi from Dinamo Zagreb just for the spice. And play the match in a 500,000 seat stadium. Best football experience ever. We will need bulletproof glass and huge titanium walls to divide the 2 sides of the stands.Â

Albanian here
Whoever we draw from pot 2 will make or break our draw id like to avoid Turkey Sweden Serbia the most Ukraine Poland Czech Republic Slovakia Greece Hungary Norway could be tough as well
Really only Wales and Romania I wouldn’t mind but if I had to pick one I’d pick Wales even though I rate them slightly higher than Romania I have a fear that if we got Romania it could end up being a very hostile atmosphere
So my ideal group would be something like this
Belgium/Switzerland
Wales
Albania
Cyprus
Liechtenstein
GoHardLive@reddit (OP)
Do you think Albania could qualify? In last 2 games against Ukraine and Czech republic they were bad.
Historical-Ad2780@reddit
We didn't have Gjimshiti on defence, Kumbulla too. Broja is still injured. Additionally the damn coach doesn't play with Muçi, Hoxha and Uzuni up front who are all very fast players with great skills but decides to play Asani (Robben style player that now everyone defender can predict his move) and that damn Seferi who is asked to do defensive work. Also he puts Bajrami (CAM) as a right winger... just watch the 2nd half we played yesterday with Uzuni, Muçi/Hoxha up front with Bajrami, Mitaj and Laçi joining the attack... I loved that second half even though we only scored 1 goal.Â

This nations league campaign was worrying but you have to consider the nations league does not really determine a teams destiny in the 22/23 season we finished bottom of a group that had Israel and Iceland and look how we did in the Euro qualifiers same thing with Romania they finished bottom of their NL group last time and ended up topping their Euro qualifiers group like us
We also didn’t have our best striker and best defender and captain throughout the entire nations league also id expect more motivation from World Cup qualifiers than from nations league but Sylvinho for sure needs to change something and opt for a more attacking approach we need that spirit back we had from qualifiers and the Euros
Regarding qualification to the World Cup I would not put that much expectation on us realistically this team needs maybe one more cycle before they can qualify (don’t get me wrong we should still aim to qualify for 2026) but what I’m saying is if we qualified it would be a lot like Slovenia in 2002 or Slovakia in 2010 not shocking just premature and out of nowhere
By the way what do you think of Greeces chances ?
GoHardLive@reddit (OP)
What is happening to Broja? Will he come back anytime soon ?He is injured all the time
I think this is the best time for Greece to qualify somewhere after 10 years of being at the bottom of the barrel. We are becoming a decent side again.
TrickshotAlbo360@reddit
He’s back in training for Everton this international break shows how badly we need him
Crisbo05_20@reddit
Give us Croatia Albania Serbia BiH/Bulgaria/Kosovo group.
