Ban pills. All medicines in inhalers.

Swallow a pill, what happens? Stomach acid eats it. Not good. Ban them. I have known to have a pill stuck in the back of my throat - it burnt.

Instead, dispense all prescription & over the counter medicines in inhalers. Fast entry into the blood stream to counteract symptoms immediately. Also replaces injections.

Get your total prescription, one inhaler for the lot. Not ten different pills. Make the inhalers recyclable and refillable, so no waste. Inhalers come with counters to tell you how many doses are left.

I work in Pharma and my favorite medicine I personally take is a foam, like hair mousse, so suggest we move to only that exclusively. But also allow foams to be ingested on crackers like spray cheese since sometimes you need it to go in that way. And I guess some foams could be nasal too.

I read an article from 1899 predicting how things would be in 100 years. That was one prediction, that medicine would be administered by mouth only for digestive problems. The rest would be inhaled, injected, applied topically, etc. depending on where the drug was needed. I guess pills are just more convenient?

No, they are cheaper. We have alternatives on the market for many medications. For gods sake they have intranasal epinephrine and now sublingual. But, insurance doesn't want to pay because they are priced so much higher than the pill or injection. So really that's why. Pharma charges too much.

What about people with pills that need taking at different times of day? I need my heart medicine before 10 am, ideally, and my birth control at noon, I can't just suddenly change when I start taking both for shits and giggles. And what about people that are on one pill multiple times a day and another just once? Can't really cram mixed dosages into an inhaler like that. Plus, some medicines just don't work when aerosolised because of the mature of the chemical components

I see your idea but everyone walking around rubbing their crusted bleeding nose is not gonna be a good site. Plus it cakes up and you can only put so much up your nose, or so I’ve heard, and you constantly gotta blow you nose, will create booger pickers which will spread viruses, etc.

Just make them all a liquid spray like narcan. Get one big bottle and then a dispenser. Take 5 meds, just add them to the big bottle and take your nasal bumps.
