Simply amazing that these two posted bond.

As is your right as an American. Right to a speedy trial, right to be innocent until proven guilty. Being arrested and charged isn’t proof of guilt.

According to the article that was posted two hours ago they're still in jail on $1M bond each. Neither is likely the type to have wealthy friends/family willing to take the risk of fronting large amounts of money to a bondsman to get them out.

I mean sure...but that wasn't my point.

You stated "these two posted bond." They did not, this is a false statement. In case you're not familiar with the term, "Posting bond" means that the money has been given to the court and the person has been released on bond.

Oh look, more neck tattoos. Huh.

what discovery is it that you think you've made here about neck tattoos
ViscountDeVesci@reddit
Every murder on the Dallas page? Haven’t found an exception yet.
Slinkeh_Inkeh@reddit
You believe you have discovered that every murderer on the Dallas page has a neck tattoo?
Tight-Physics2156@reddit

It is so nice this person did the right thing
The Snitch/Rat thing is what the culture in general uses to persuade people to not do the right thing

Man, this thread is proof we're in some societal nightmare. Posting bond and posted bond in a legal sense are two separate things, in this case a million dollar bond was posted, meaning after posting (paying) that bond they would be free contingent on them showing up for court and reporting to the bondsman. Which ain't no one bonding them out. And neck tattoos have absolutely nothing to do with crime, I have a neck tattoo and I've never killed anyone. Plenty of people do. If I did I'd make sure someone would be able to get out of jail before the trial, after posting bond.

No, "Posting/posted" bond has nothing to do with the judge setting the bond amount. Posting/posted bond means the money has been given to the court. The action of the judge setting the bond amount is not referred to as "posting" or "posted".

To reiterate, "posting/posted" is not done by a judge, it's done by a bondsman.

Ok buddy, just keep posting links. Whatever makes you feel smart. I try to not remember my times on the wrong side of the law, but depending on what phase of incarnation you're in, posting, posted, bonding, bonded, held on bond, can mean different. The original comment thought they were already out, that was the main problem.

There’s gotta be more to this story that will come out. For instance why this 53 year old guy was letting these two 20 year olds live with him? Sad deal, disgusting people, glad the friend stepped up to turn them in.
