NATO literally wants ww3.
dick_thickwood@reddit
Biden is an ass. In his fog, he's going to get us killed.
syynapt1k@reddit
That's a Russian talking point you are peddling. The West cannot appease a dictator invading a democratic country.
dick_thickwood@reddit
You don't speak for the West. I doubt you've ever been in the military, let alone War. If you are of military age, there is no glamor laying next to a friend with their guts spread next to you. Biden has begun to act in a way that crosses a redline to War.
There is no good guy-bad guy here. Even assuming the dictator drives an evil multi-national army, there is no democratic country involved. Try to keep up. The "democratic" country is one in which opposition -- politicians, clerics, businessmen -- have been silenced by death.
In this "democratic" country, a generation of our most corrupt politicians have laundered hundreds of billions of dollars of US money, including the Biden crime syndicate. We are paying for pensions and glamorous lives for select Ukrainians.
If this war goes nuclear, your siblings, cousins, and maybe you parents, will develop horrific cancers.
So, don't lecture me, son. This isn't a militarized dungeons and dragons. It's real life.
Traditional_Gas8325@reddit
Biden is such a pos for these arms shipments. He’s just gonna stir shit up and dump it on the next Narcissist in Chief?
This is why the Dems lost, they prove with every action they don’t give AF about us. Why deescalate when you can escalate?
thefedfox64@reddit
Let me ask, if this was a US territory, would you be ok giving it up? With de-escalation (read as stop fighting and just accept the L and we can all pretend it helped)
Traditional_Gas8325@reddit
None. This war shouldn’t have started. They knew this would happen if they joined NATO. So anyone who supported this at the onset is culpable.
thefedfox64@reddit
None? That's not an answer to what I asked. Countries have a sovereign right to join, do, and such how they like. There is 0 justification that anyone could give for a reaction. And BTW, Ukraine has not joined NATO, and the only culpable party is Russia. So how can one say or rationalize what is happening is beyond me.
So, would you be ok with giving up a US territory in the name of de-escalation?
Traditional_Gas8325@reddit
That’s an irrelevant question. And Ukraine was trying to join nato. A redline for Russia. That wasn’t something they NEEDED to do. Just like we don’t NEED to facilitate genocide in Gaza.
EatMoarTendies@reddit
It shouldn’t come as a surprise from the Biden Admin. Look what they’re doing in the Middle East. We are literally fueling Israel’s weapon cache. “No Isreal, don’t attack Lebanon” “I’m warning you!” “This is your last chance, you have 30 days to aid Gaza”… continues sending weapons and military assistance to Israel every step of the way…

Redditors rooting for ww3 is something i didn't have on my bingo card for 2024
alternative5@reddit
Putin can stop this along with WW3 if he just fucks from Crimea, Donesk/Luhansk. Sounds like he wants WW3 and we are just answering in kind.
No_Extent207@reddit
Yeah it’s almost like we’re playing into his hand and nobody realizes it
CrustyShoelaces@reddit
Putin won't do anything substantial because he knows his inside guy is coming into power in 2 months
No_Extent207@reddit
I love a strategy based on hopes and dreams.
Astrosurfing414@reddit
Strategy is to bleed him out, always has been. You just don’t like it.
No_Extent207@reddit
But is that the best strategy? What is the plan exactly if the Russians continue to follow this path of escalation?
Astrosurfing414@reddit
This is a tit-for-tat game and we have the bigger guns, and the much larger wallet to drag this through, along with a motivated, hungry proxy in Ukraine.
In this case, we continue to trail the escalation.
Russia has 10,000 NK troops on its border, and plans to have 100,000 within a year.
We just authorized long range strikes into Russia. We are behind, with room to continue escalation.
If/when Russia breaks, it will be a flood gate. That’s the nature of conflicts, no matter how people want to believe this is WW1’esque.
No_Extent207@reddit
What would be the ultimate goal for seeing this through? What are the consequences to a broken Russia?
Astrosurfing414@reddit
Goal is to achieve stability, it’s what any sea born empire is looking to maintain in order to trade and prosper.
Russian is an imperialistic land empire. They failed at exerting influence through trade; oil & gas were not enough. They resorted to land grab out of nostalgic allures of grandeur and are getting stomped.
The precise goal is tit for tat escalation over overwhelming force is to specifically avoid a dismantled Russia that descends into civil war.
A diplomatic solution remains the desired resolution, but to Ukraine, and the West’s advantage.
Russia hasn’t suffered enough yet.
No_Extent207@reddit
Can you specify how it’s possible to follow this path of escalation and somehow avoid a fractured Russian homeland. And again I ask what the consequences of that could be.
Astrosurfing414@reddit
No, I dont have a crystal ball, nor am I privy to intel on internal politics of Russia.
The CIA and Western intelligence outfits know more than anyone. They called the invasion loudly in Jan/Feb 2022.
We’ve already seen how a more powerful USSR was broken up. There will be someone after Putin to negotiate with, if it has to come to that.
No_Extent207@reddit
You don’t need a crystal ball though. Putin made it very clear that an existential threat to Russia would elicit a nuclear response. And if it does break apart, how positive are you that all of their nuclear weapons could be accounted for? What happens if NK becomes so involved that it forces China to join in? So many unknowns impossible to answer.
We do know for a fact that peace is in everyone’s interest and will give us time to negotiate a lasting resolution.
Astrosurfing414@reddit
Putin has made nothing clear. Ambiguity is his entire schtick.
His redline means nothing as is evident by the countless ones that were passed over.
The fact you lend any credence to it is ridiculous, shows how far down a rabbit hole you’ve gone.
No_Extent207@reddit
No I think he did actually say that. If you don’t respect the red lines then eventually you may go a step too far and then there is no going back. Not respecting the deterrence value of nuclear weapons only encourages Russian to demonstrate their capability.
Astrosurfing414@reddit
Existential threats to Russia have been their core nuclear doctrine for decades. It’s nothing, and it’s why he put up sham elections in annexed oblasts.
Him changing those doctrines today and parading 40 ft containers as shelters is another redline he won’t hold himself accountable to.
There is not a single country in the world that wants Russia to use nukes, and everybody understands that deterring Russia from doing so, and not appeasing them when they can’t make any strategic gains on the battlefield, is the right strategy.
Even China. .
No_Extent207@reddit
God I hope your right because if you’re not we’re all fucked. At least if I’m wrong about peace we can try again.
Astrosurfing414@reddit
Tell the 60,000,000 dead people in WW2 about “trying” again.
No_Extent207@reddit
Wow it must be nice to pull random bit of history out your ass and present it as a credible argument. Wtf exactly is your point because to me 60000000 dead is a sting argument for making peace somehow before the death toll reaches such terrible heights.
CrustyShoelaces@reddit
I mean... why should Russia escalate now while Biden controls the nukes?
No_Extent207@reddit
Well maybe you’re right. I hope the Trump admin prioritizes the end of the conflict and peruses greater diplomatic relations with Russia.
boredrlyin11@reddit
As long as total capitulation isnt the whole scope and depth of his perusal
alternative5@reddit
Fuck I didnt know his hand included adding 2 new Nations right along his border to Nato. Really makes me think 🤔 .
No_Extent207@reddit
Yeah but I guess it wouldn’t be as much of a surprise if his strategy was so obvious.
CTC42@reddit
Is there any compelling reason to think this whole thing isn't just Putin trying to save face after the original "Five Days To Kyiv" plan collapsed in front of the entire world? It's hard to imagine him admitting he overestimated Russian military prowess in such a public fashion.
Pitiful-Let9270@reddit
We can fight them in Ukraine or we can fight them in Poland. Either way, we are gonna fight them
Gettingmilked@reddit
Who the fuck is we buddy.

that_guy124@reddit
Appeasment never works...if russia threatens nuclear war for an unprovoked war of conquest and gets away with it, why would they ever stop threatening nuclear war for everything else they would ever want too?
Big-Professional-187@reddit
Putins been gone since 2013 at least.
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
Well Trump telling Putin to “Stop” resulted in Putin flashing Melania’s nude photos on Russian state TV. So so much for the strong man argument, looks like Biden was very much keeping Putin in line. Who knows what Trump is going to allow to happen….
Big-Professional-187@reddit
Trump might even let Ukraine have nukes
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
Yeah, let’s just hand out nuclear weapons to everyone that way there certainly can’t be a problem…….
Razul22@reddit
Lmao. Pigs could start flying to, who knows.
neosharkey@reddit
Gotta justify those budgets…and biden’s handlers want to leave Trump a mess to distract him from the swamp.

What happened to this place lol. I mean it was always on the fringe back in the day but every post now is just hawking for war against China or Russia. Like as a prepper, why would you want your country to escalate a conflict with a nuclear power?

That's because he's aligned with the other side.

Rev up those fryers and stock your bacteria contaminated water jugs!
ballskindrapes@reddit
The amount to people pissing themselves over what is not really a real threat is just absurd, and shows how much people actually know about politics.
This is nothing more than saber rattling. Literally nothing more.
This is like some kid yelling "if you don't stop me, I'll stuck my finger in the socket! Better do what I want or else!"
And yet he never sticks his finger in the socket, despite doing this over and over.
Dictatorship must always stay on the aggressive side, or appear to be doing so, it gives them a sense of falls authority to the people. This, and trying to make a bluff to be able to more effectively invade Ukraine, is all this is.

It is actually.

I hope this is false news. A bunch of vulnerable people are going to get hurt. Good business for that place that trains rats to sniff out mines though.

Europe has to step up and finish the fight. The US has done enough.
historywasrewritten@reddit
-11 votes on a prepper sub, lol. Reddit truly is so shitty and has been for a long time now. So many bots to try and convince people that the average American is totally cool with sending hundreds of billions to a historically corrupt nation while we have record unemployment and homelessness right here in our own country, with cost of living, food and everything through the roof.
CringeBerries@reddit
I don't get it.
HelloImTheAntiChrist@reddit
That'll only happen if Poland and the European Union government acts. I don't think Europeans are taking the Russian threat seriously.
They forget about Soviet Russia and Stalin's reign.
itsadiseaster@reddit
Poland... The usual scapegoat. Poland sent almost 400 tanks while germany still scrambles to send 40.
Europe as a whole produces 40000 artillery rounds per year as a whole. But sure, you start the blame from Poland.
HelloImTheAntiChrist@reddit
Where did I blame Poland? Re-read my comment good sir
itsadiseaster@reddit
Sentence #1 stipulates that Poland and others don't act.

CringeBerries@reddit
I'm not saying escalate. I'm saying take Ukraine off the tit.
Traditional_Gas8325@reddit
dnhs47@reddit
We’re already sending Ukraine cluster munitions that drop land mines, so this is hardly different
beginner75@reddit
The cluster ammos drop bomblets, not AP mines. AP mines are more effective because they create casualties which is a lot more damaging than fatalities.
dnhs47@reddit
The US cluster munition bomblets have a 2-5% “failure” rate, meaning they survive hitting to ground, remain explosive, and serve as anti personnel mines. For the ATACMS/MLRS cluster munitions, that’s 13-32 unexploded bomblets.
This is the first time I thought of that as a feature.
beginner75@reddit
That won’t be sufficient. Looking at the situation, they would need a billion mines to freeze the conflict.
iridescent-shimmer@reddit
Yikes.
Emphasis_on_why@reddit
Pretty strange for an administration and party that wailed over pagers exploding
Big-Professional-187@reddit
Did they? How did they not be prepared for hamas without any readiness or reinforced outposts or security for events like the music festival that got attacked? One hand doesn't know what the other is doing?

Hunter Biden is still higher than inflation, and yet nothing on the mainstream media.

Ukraine has 0% chance of winning and all this does is cause more Ukrainians to be dragged into vans and thrown into the death zone.
