I’m just out of patience for tieing and re-tieing shoes after 45 years, and holy crap, elastic laces turned my favorite sneakers into quick on/off shoes. I’m blown away.

I just do Skecher slip-ons, no laces needed but it still looks like it has regular laces

We were raised on the curly elastic laces that looked like phone cords and marked you as a fool who couldn't tie their shoes so it took us a decade or so to morph into cool folks who just don't want to tie their shoes

Yes!!! I was having trouble getting to the gym, and one little piece of that was not feeling like messing with my shoelaces. It’s amazing how elastic laces just totally remove the barrier! The Original Stretchlace has a million types, colors, and lengths.

I have Lock Laces for my running shoes, but only because I don't want them coming untied while I run. It does make the on/off much faster, though.

Same! Although I once wore my shoes with lock laces on one of those tough mudder runs without thinking about it. Lost a shoe in the mud pit. 1/10 would not recommend

I think the only time this bugs me is when I'm getting ready for work. I want to be as efficient as possible so I switched to a pair of those hands free shoes and I swear it saves so much time.
