hahah its a half pint of pistachio ice cream that i got by literally sawing the pint in half and an oil based fudge topping on top. i love in a cold area so it got a bit think and i was too lazy to bother warming it. i also put some christmas sprinkles on it later

I'm not sure it's on the packaging or not since it's been ages since I last bought magic shell but due to it's nature of seizing up when cold, most of the time you need to heat up the package in your hands or in the microwave for a few seconds before you start to pour. It'll give you the "shell" result you want when it's warmer.

Good callout. OP, the "magic shell" thing is really just an oil. At the proper temps it will be runny, but then solidify once it hits the ice cream and gets cold.

Yep and it separated in the bottle. I always put mine in a warm bowl of water and then shake it really good to get it all mixed back up. Even if you don't heat it, shaking it up is pretty key with magic shell. Although heating it absolutely makes it much easier.

Yup. This right here. I love me some Magic She’ll but in the winter, our kitchen is chilly so I usually let the bottle sit in some hot water before I have some ice cream. Then I put on ice cream and toss that in the freezer for a few minutes to shell up!

You need to submerge the bottle in warm water for a few minutes before using. Also you shouldn’t refrigerate it. The base of the sauce is made of coconut oil so it has to be at or above room temperature to work.

Magic shell had a chokehold on my pregnancy cravings, but I learned the secret that it's just melted chocolate with a little coconut oil. DIY and it looks less fecal. Also, super cost effective and you can use whatever chocolate you prefer.
