Bro good luck posting on r/Showerthoughts. Your post has to check 1 million boxes to be accepted and even if you think it's good, there's a 99% chance they'll just delete it. I have serious beef with overmoderated subreddits like that one.

I gave up even thinking about posting there so long ago now that I can't remember when it was.

So, what I do now, when I have a showthought is I don't post it here either.

It's a shame ... because sometimes I have a thought I think might amuse/entertain/educate/whatever. But ... I hate my CrazyIdeas feed being clogged up with showerthoughts, so, I treat others as I like to be treated myself and refrain from clogging theirs up with my random thoughts.

This post isn't an idea, it's a random thought: there's no development, no progression, no conclusion, it's just "What if ... What if ... Like, what if, right ... What if ...?"

I think a hundred of those a minute myself ... I don't need more.

Gimme an idea.

Gimme something that's 'crazy, but ... you know what ... it just could work'.

I've had to leave a couple of subs recently, because I got so sick and tired of my feed being filled up with everything but what they're supposed to be for (stuff I already see reposted in other feeds long before they reach those ones) that there's no point simply muting them because, even if I were to open them separately, they'd still be full of shit I don't need to see and other stuff I've seen ten (if not more) timers already today alone, never mind in the last month.

CrazyIdeas is one of the very last 'simply thought-provoking' feeds I still subscribe to - I really don't wanna end up having to unsubscribe because it's full of brainfarts by people abusing the sub as a substitute for something else - there are plenty of others for 'funny' stuff, jokes, etc. ... or they could even create their own.

Otherwise, we might as well just one, endless, feed of everything - whether it's of any interest to us or not.

But, guess what ... when I'm not doing the other things, I have to do ... time on Reddit can be a fun way to unwind.

So, far from needing to re-evaluate my life choices ... because I've made some pretty damn fine ones as it happens ... started making them a very long time ago and haven't stopped since (it's been fun, educational, and even profitable, being me)

... I need just need my feeds not to be full of shit when I come here.
