Also i am so jealous of that mini vaio… God i want one of those.
jjjacer@reddit
not hard to get them, just not cheap, usually $200 shipped from japan on ebay. (its were i got mine), but then again anything retro or desirable is usually not cheap.
FTFreddyYT@reddit
Yeah. Thing is i aint paying that for a glorified Netbook..

I remember wanting that mp3 player on the far left sooooo badly when I was young. What's the model of it? I may try to find one.
potatomasher092@reddit
I love tiny laptops like that… they are just so cute
Performance does lack though.
graywolf0026@reddit
I remember having to support each of these devices when I worked at Sony Support back in the day.
... Oh the driver hijinx...
Foreign_Safety_949@reddit
Wow even back then driver issues? really need sony drivers archived.
graywolf0026@reddit
Oh yeah. I still remember trying to get some guys Sony HandyCam to sync up over Sony's take on FireWire to his Sony Vaio desktop. This guy had gone all in on Sony.
And... No matter what. The desktop would not see the connection and pull video. I did a search and I'm PRETTY SURE it was a system in like with a Sony PCV series (in fact I'd bet my life on it since anytime we had those calls, and people had issues, they'd get routed to my desk)?
Either way. It resulted in an escalation. Went back a few days later to check the ticket and... Sure enough. They did a full system restore using the recovery disks. Didn't help. Chalked it up to bad drivers. Sent him an upgraded unit.

I want to go back there so much 🥲
This is a dream collection.

God I miss physical keyboards on phones.
Raptor007@reddit
They still exist. I'm personally baffled it's such a niche market, but maybe I just loathe typing on touchscreens more than most people.
thenebular@reddit
I preferred the side sliders myself. My favourite phone was the HTC Dream.
Raptor007@reddit
That makes sense. I prefer the vertical orientation because I can type on them one-handed, though my dream phone would be something like the BlackBerry Style 9670 if it supported modern networks. Too bad I didn't hear about that one until it was already unusable in the US.
Thick_Temperature794@reddit
Ohh!! I love your setup! All Sony, all the time? lol
tech_auto@reddit
Now turn them all on! JK nice collection, I remember the Sony store at my local mall and seeing the mini PCs..
Alive_Importance_629@reddit
Wau! The flagship Xperia X1!
Aubreythewitch@reddit
What’s the thing on the far left (the silver one in the angled stand with the small screen)?
Coppermine-tr@reddit (OP)
It is one of the very first mp3 player from Sony with titanium body. (Sony NW-MS70D) Comes with 256MB built-in memory and also supports memory stick duo cards
jfroco@reddit
Nice collection! I always wanted to buy that mic during the brief golden years of MiniDisc.
