Layover at DFW

I have a connecting flight at dfw on Wednesday, which normally was a 2 hour layover and they changed it to 1 hour. I've never been to this airport, and I need to get to the international terminal. Is 1 hour sufficient time to possibly have to go from one end to the other?
I don't know which gate I fly into yet..

Yep, you should be just fine. The gates change for flights somewhat often at DFW, though, so be sure to keep refreshing your app before and during your layover.

More than enough. Skylink will get you there in 5 mins

Yes, you should have enough time assuming no delays. Use the Skylink to transfer between terminals without leaving the secure area. You can get from any terminal to terminal D (international) in less than 10 minutes once on the train. Make sure you have the airline(s) apps downloaded for realtime gate updates. American Airlines is notorious for changing gates up to a few hours prior to arrival/departure.

Funny, cuz it’s American Airlines that just switched the layover on me.. Appreciate the reply

If you’re really worried you can always check flightaware.com for historical flights (use your flight numbers) get a rough idea of how long flights have been recently between your city pairs and gates/terminals that the flights have used recently. Some city pairs will frequently use the same terminals.
Weather looks good on Wednesday so hopefully no delays at DFW.
Having a seat near the front of the plane on the flight to DFW will also shave off some time. Be familiar with gate locations in relation to the Skylink stops, use taxi time once you land at DFW to plan your route for when you deplane into the terminal.
If checking a bag, it should make it, to be safe make sure you have all essentials in your carryon (meds, change of clothes, anything you can’t live without for a few days).
