I got lost at the drive in coming back from the bathroom during that movie. It was a sea of cars. Some Good Samaritan helped me find my parents. The trauma is real!

Every now and then I will suddenly burst out with Send some one to fetch us we’re in Saskatchewan” for no reason whatsoever

We played this, and "Can You Picture That" at our wedding.

We still say "I don't how you you guys did that..." "I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU GUYS DID THAT!" all the time.

When this song came out, I decided to change the lyrics to swear words because I was just learning there were words you weren't supposed to say. And whenever I was alone, I would sing my utterly depraved, foul version: "Poopie, fart, shut up." Apologies if you find the language shocking, it is not something I'm proud of either.

I have the soundtrack on record and this is still my favorite track!

Oh my, I am taken aback. I was 11 and this was my favorite song for the longest time, I saw the movie about 5 times because of this song/scene. Being 11 I was just getting into BeeGees and stuff so this was my transition from little kid to mature 6th grader, so I was probably hiding it from my cool friends on the playground as childish. Got older at that precise moment. It's like reading Catcher in the Ryre for me.
The sudden nostalgia squishy feeling I have is crazy. I have no idea what made it so special to me then, but I wish I could recapture that feeling of coming out of the matinee, and going to Farrell's for Ice Cream with my best friends afterwards too.
At the time I even tried to get my dad to cassette record it in the theater because for some reason I was unable to get the soundtrack. He was worried about batteries, haha. Hearing it now is overwhelming and floods my thoughts. I would have never thought to look for this and here we are. Thank you and I still want the sun to rise in the west Fozzie!!!

I've played this on the radio and called it the "greatest roadtrip song of all time".

This soundtrack got a ton of play around my house growing up. Also, I love Paul Williams.

I listened to the soundtrack cassette about a gazillion times and loved (almost) every song! It’s still one of my favorite movies.
