From Ford's "make everything an oval" years.

They're fun and comfy, working on them a little less so. I spent many painful hours doing engine things on full size Ford vans.

When the vans a rocking don't come a knockin!

By gawd, that interior looks so cozy and comfortable. Love the wood accents.
Cosmixwave@reddit
They sure don't make them like they used to! Nice buy

I bought this instead of taking over payments on my moms Subaru legacy lmao. I think I made the right choice

Hopefully you have a short commute, it's gonna be a thirsty rig.

Those E-series were all but indestructible. Now do a Sportswagon 4x4 conversion on it!
Eyehopeuchoke@reddit
I want one of these so bad, but my wife is so against them!!
mini4x@reddit
Best road trip vehicles ever.
MountainOfRight@reddit
Wow. My friends parents has one of those when we were young. Pretty comfortable to ride in.
wanker_wanking@reddit (OP)
Already shoved 4 of my friends in the back of it lmao
MountainOfRight@reddit
It’s like a living room on wheels
wanker_wanking@reddit (OP)
Exactly how I described it.
wanker_wanking@reddit (OP)
Paid 9k and it has 120k miles though it’s so clean you can’t tell
NotABonerGarage@reddit
Seems like a steal to me.m
wanker_wanking@reddit (OP)
The dealership said they got a ton of emails about it in the 3-4 days it was on the lot, luckily I knew it would sell fast and got it quickly
NotABonerGarage@reddit
Honestly insane that this was dealer inventory lol I would’ve expected a private seller on something like this.
No-Training-8730@reddit
I can smell it
wanker_wanking@reddit (OP)
It smells like lemon air freshener

One of these came into my shop when I was wrenching automotive, I had never known they existed until then. Unreal amount of woodworking done in the van. It was not nearly as nice as this one, but I was utterly in shock that this was even done. Suuuuuuper comfy seats. I felt like i was in my old keelboat with all the teak and oak.... drove like my old boat, too
anoftz@reddit
Dude damn straight gimme it
Rare-Yogurtcloset-22@reddit
It’s not just a mini van, it’s where the lads come together and chill away from society

I really miss our 90's GMC conversion, although I think ours had the raised roof. Regardless, the interiors in these things are ridiculously comfortable!
Many trips with the family driving from NJ to FL in it, 2-3x a year. I would consider getting one again if my family now travelled as much as my parents & brothers did, but we don't.
SSpartikuSS@reddit
4.6 or 5.4
Bubbly_Positive_339@reddit
Steam clean everything
canadard1@reddit
Never seen one with an interior that isn’t wrecked and stained. You found a unicorn!
aaryg@reddit
Looks amazing. I can imagine the road trips being an adventure driving this everywhere
Conservadem@reddit
You need this bumper sticker.
fallway@reddit
Seinfeld's van!
jamesholden@reddit
As a /r/gmt400 fan I'm disappointed you didn't get a GM van to compliment that awesome burb
Beneficial_Buddy_1@reddit
My mom has this exact van, although not in as good of condition. It’s like sitting on a comfortable couch at home!
zeno0771@reddit
I lowkey miss those things ngl. When I was a kid we had an '84 GMC 2500 Starcraft conversion. I swore that once I turned 18 and/or they were ready to trade it in that I would buy it from them. It was already fire-engine red, all I needed to do is paint over the beige accent trim and throw a set of Cragar S/S wheels under it.
Stupid adulthood.
Conservadem@reddit
Adulting sucks!
ottrocity@reddit
I spent SO much of my youth in one just like this. You absolutely got a great deal on a great vehicle.
akmacmac@reddit
Looks awesome. I learned to drive in one of those that my parents had in the early 2000’s. Looks great. I’d just be a little worried about under body rust if it’s lived it’s life in the salt.
Pyrochazm@reddit
Looks comfy.
MadMax808@reddit
Those seats look so cushy!
