What are you opinions about Boot's Christmas ad?

Boots are just trying to be controversial and different because nothing they sell ever is. Same old soap & glory sets every year, just in different packaging so we don’t get caught regifting. Are you even living in England if you haven’t got about 3 x sanctuary sets gathering dust under the bed? That you then donate to the school tombola or use as an emergency present for the aunts birthday you forgot? The advert is alright, it’s just women spinning around showing off hair tongs and beauty tools that get bought once and only come out twice a year - much like all the other retailers who try to get every last penny out of our piggy banks. Except some one at boots marketing probably thought they’d spark a little fire in an already tense world to see if they could get us to buy one more Ted baker spray set that’s been on their shelves for about ten years now. No need to get your superdry pants set in a twist. Can’t wait for John Lewis, some melancholy £8 million twaddle, that breaks your heart by encourages you to by a £500 appliance while you either cry or get angry. Kevin the carrot is the king of Christmas ad anyway, at least it’s fun!
