I’m traveling through south east asia and a friend of mine asked me a good question. What travel insurance did you have the best experience with? Including customer support, good website/app, process for filing a claim, etc.
I'm with Safetywing, but I've never had to file a claim, so I didn't really know how to answer.

Safety wing is good for best price but only covers major medical.

I used Allianz, claim filed for flight delays which caused me to miss 1st day of a 10 day tour. Easy to file claim and reimbursement in less than a week. Basically the amount covered the cost of the insurance.

Nice, I've heard some folks swear by it! I've only used it for concert tickets myself. Where were you travelling at the time?

I always use insuremytrip.com and search for a policy with a cancel for any reason option. I’ve only had to use it once and it paid everything I expected it to and more. I just don’t remember which company actually wrote the policy.

Nice, I've never heard of that website. Is it better than Squaremouth? Where abouts have you travelled by the way?

Thanks for the insights. Have you filed a claim on with it? If so, How did it go?
