From your own video as "evidence", he says at 6:43: "these just behaved like a low powered slug". Which they are. I never said they couldn't kill but it won't kill any better than 2 ~.50 cal leads balls. Or better than normal buckshot. Or better than a slug. Just look at the high speed, they don't even separate. Or the cable breaks. Then you're launching two large balls which makes your hit probability at a flying object terrible.

On the 2nd video, the wire didn't even stay together hitting a soccer ball. The buckshot is doing the damage. So why handicap yourself with less buckshot? It's not increasing your hit probability or getting stuck in the rotors. For both videos they are shooting at very close distances (relatively). If you bothered to read the post they could hit at 20 meters but they view that as too close. So what good is testing at half that distance especially when that testing shows the bolo's don't spread well?

I asked you to elaborate. How does a bolo round give you a better hit chance than buckshot? Why do you need such large projectiles to down a drone? How do they perform at distances past 10 yards? I said early that a 3.5" B goose load or a 3" 2oz #4 lead turkey load gives you a pattern at long range and pretty good impact on a relatively fragile target. Be honest, could you hit a goose with a bolo round? Or course not. There's a reason no one hunts birds with buckshot and bolos would be even worse. We have 100+ years of shooting fast flying objects at 50+ yards. Start with what works there.
