Best case fans setup for the LIAN LI LANCOOL 207 case and a CPU air cooler?

Hello everyone,
I am planning on building a new PC with the LIAN LI LANCOOL 207 case and a CPU air cooler.
Considering it comes with 4 fans (2 bottoms and 2 fronts) which would be used as intake, I was wondering what would be the ideal setup when paired with additional fans?
I was thinking of adding an exhaust fan at the back and possibly one top exhaust fan, but not sure if that would improve the temps that much?
Any thoughts?

I'm currently building my new PC with a Lancool 207 and a Thermalright Phantom Spirit SE cooler on a 7800x3d - and holy shit it pushes a lot of air out the back, even without a rear fan. I'm not sure if I'm even going to add one as it's louder than I expected already.

Oh wow, interesting. Is it really that loud? Did you tweak the fan speed curves to help with the noise or was it the default speed?
Also, have you had the chance to monitor the temps on full load to see how it performs?
I guess maybe just a rear fan would do the trick then, and even then, seems like it might not even be necessary if the airflow is really that good lol

I adjusted the front and bottom fan speeds to stay at or under 1000rpm and it's much quieter.
Hasn't seemed to affect the CPU temps.
I did a Cinebench multi-core run (10 mins) and CPU temps didn't go over 74 degrees.

I am thinking about getting the 207 and found this thread from doing a search. Did you have any issues with the power supply setup being unconventional?

No issues so far. I spent the time properly cable managing and it's fine. The case closes perfectly. It's a very tidy setup.
I have a Corsair RM850x (the new ATX 3.1 2024 version) installed. It's 160mm long, which is the limit of what Lian Li recommends. I wouldn't go any longer than this.

I have set the fan curves to auto CPU temp/PWM mode in the MSI BIOS (I have an MSI Pro B650-S mobo) and it has made it better. Although as the 7800x3D's temps spike up very quickly when doing basically anything, the fans speed up and slow down regularly.
I might just set the front and bottom fans to a static speed, so only the CPU fans speed up under load.
I haven't done proper full load monitoring, but I haven't seen it go over 80 ish degrees.
I'll see if I get time to do a Cinebench run tonight.

I just ordered case too! My plan is to just add one rear exhaust fan, I'm not bothering adding any to the top. In past experiences with other cases, I found that adding top exhaust fan don't help thermals all that much, maybe a degree or two at most, but with the added noise of the extra fans on top, i just don't think is worth it.

I’ve got a 207 coming in a few days and I’m also using an air cooler. The only additional fan I’m gonna add is a rear exhaust!
