Title says everything. Any pubs that have a fire that is used regularly?

The Chequers in Fenny Stratford. Really small/intimate little classic pub. Low beams kinda vibe.

Are there actually any pubs in MK at all? I struggled to find any in the centre last time I went

Google Maps 👍

Thats what we used. We found 3 bars in the shopping centre, a spoons a bit further out (which was also a bar) and a lone pub a fair way out from the centre. We couldn't even find anyone who actually lived in MK to ask either 😂
I noticed most of the comments are listing places in other villages miles away and nothing in MK itself
yardders@reddit
It takes 10-15 minutes to get across the city, hardly far to travel for a better alternative to spoons.

This was 10 years ago tbf so it may have changed since then. We did walk pretty far tbf

You wouldn't want to go to the centre for authentic pub experience, apart from Wetherspoons it's mostly restaurants and shopping.
That said there is a Brewdog closer to MK Central Train Station.
Middleton is in MK itself, in fact it's the part that gave it's name to the rest, there's the Swan Inn there, The Ship Ashore is in Willen and a short walk from Central MK via Campbell Park up the canal, The Cross Keys in Woolstone is good, The Warbler on the Warf is downhill from the City Centre in the new Campbell Park Marina.
A lot of the immediate surrounding housing estates around Central MK are more the style for having some convenience stores and a couple of takeaway restaurants, while some of the further out grids were designed to have central hubs with a pub included they figured the residents closest to the main shopping centre would have plenty of restaurant choice.

Ah yeah the ship ashore, that's the one we found. Then we went to a place called pinky pounders or something because everyone said it was the best place 😂
It was tbf. And they had loads of fires too..but not really a pub haha

Quite a few have fires but I have never stopped to check if they are real. Think the one at Westcroft is gas fired. Shenley lodge should be real. The pubs in our Whaddon way too I think

The Crooked Billet in Newton Longville has a large inglenook fireplace and is great if you can snag one of the sofas in front of it.

The bar manager will throw his toys out the pram if you do anything as much as look at the fire in The Black Horse in Great Linford.
