RHCSA Black Friday?

I realize this might be a dumb question but I'm just about ready to take my exam and was wondering if it goes on sale around black Friday?
Does it ever actually go on sale anytime in the year?

For what it's worth you can get Sander Van Vugts videos, which I highly recommend, for 60% off with the below code. I am about to take my exam on 11/25 using these videos and self study exclusively.

That's what I used to study!! He's great!

Can't we just access Sanders videos through O'Reily learning for 50$ per month ?

I'll be using his videos for RHCE in the future so I will definitely see if this is true.

Not relevant for OP but what certification path will you want to follow ? RHCSA -> RHCE -> then ?
Do you believe you will want to do RHCA ?
_Vernaculus@reddit
No plans to do RHCA at the moment. After RHCSA I'll be getting my CISSP since I work at an MSSP, then either RHCE and some AWS certs (or vice versa) since we use that platform. I hope to move into a Cloud role if I can find an opportunity that pays more.

Buy it from an authorised red hat partner, they will definitely have some discount.

I wasn't aware this was possible! Do you know any off the top of your head?
Fearless-Mud-4656@reddit
Search for Redhat exam locations, you’ll find a link to the Redhat site, select your country and it will list all exam partners with their contact number, just call some of them and you’ll for sure get a better price.

Thank you very much!!

Would you be impressed by any cert that was in the bargain bit once a year? RH certs are the only Linux certs that pay back your time and effort to earn - the rest of the discount bin certs are nothing but money mills for the cert vendor.
Zmer1216@reddit (OP)
Good question. Technically I would still value this cert even if on sale because it is still a hands on exam that proves ability better than the others but I understand your point in why red hat charges more for their cert.
megasxl264@reddit
No
Only certs that receive any substantial discounts (not bacl friday) are Microsoft's(training/conference sessions) and CompTIA's (beta exams)

The LFCS went on sale last year which is also a decent Linux cert. I consider it above Linux+ and below RHCSA.
No_Rhubarb_7222@reddit
I have not seen this happen.

Was wishful thinking!

Often some of the training materials from third party sources go on sale, but I do not think Redhat has any incentive to put out a black Friday discount. Now, if your company is willing to make a 6 to 8 figure purchase, then some discounts may appear...

Makes sense thank you
