In my opinion, I might be wrong but you might want to get a 850 watt psu because you would still have breathing room for upgrades and you can use the leftover bit of money on a hard drive to combine with your ssd.

I agree with this^

horray! Did something right after like 5 months of research. still so many unanswered questions... getting my first build in a few weeks during black friday

OMG SAMEZIES well actually I don't really agree with a hard drive that much there kinda too outdated maybe just another SSD but some people like hard drives so idk

Did some more research, you should go with 2tb ssd instead of 1tb if your more of a gamer but go with the hdd if you do more work on the computer cause theres a higher chance of data loss with and ssd.

Wow so true

Also the case is pretty expensive idk if u really need that tbh it's up to you tho just make sure any case u get has enough space for your radiator
Just-Personality-352@reddit (OP)
okay and what do you mean by radiator? also on my build list i have a liquid cooling fan, would it be better to switch to regular fans since this whole process is new to me? this is the first pc im building
electric_c0rd@reddit
The radiator is the thing with the fans attached to it cools the water and yeah but it's up to you if u want regular air cooling or liquid cooler there not super hard to install
Just-Personality-352@reddit (OP)
got it so what would you recommend if you were building this setup?
electric_c0rd@reddit
Since your going with the 7800x3d honestly just get what your getting it's fine
Just-Personality-352@reddit (OP)
okay thank you, sorry i overthink everything lmao
electric_c0rd@reddit
It's okay just giving you info so u can make the best decision also I recommend watching "the last PC guide u will ever need" from Linus tech tips
electric_c0rd@reddit
Actually my bad its called the "how to build a PC the last guide u will ever need"
Just-Personality-352@reddit (OP)
like what brand or module for regular air cooling and how many fans should i go with
electric_c0rd@reddit
Also u dont need 1000watt power supply unless u want it for later on down the road I guess but it says your wattage will be way lower then that so you really only need 850
electric_c0rd@reddit
Looks good u don't need a windows key btw can use that 100 for something else
Just-Personality-352@reddit (OP)
okay lol i wasn’t sure tbh
electric_c0rd@reddit
Yeah any case u have won't have a DVD so u need a usb flash drive and then u use another computer to install windows onto that and then plug it in to your computer and then yeah
