If Democrats had not shunned Tulsi, she wouldve been just the right kinda Democrat to take on a Trump in this election.

Now look at them. Theyve reached rock bottom because they picked the extreme side of the culture war, instead of focusing on the popular progressive policies with normal social values, instead of weirdo stuff and same old establishment politics. And now a woman who was a rising star in 2012 and 2016 for them, had to jump ship, because they turned on her. They deserved every bit of this ass kickin they just got
generalhonks@reddit
If they had run RFK or Tulsi, I would’ve voted Democrat. The Democratic Party has no one to blame but themselves.
OuTiNNYC@reddit
The way the mainstream liberal establishment relentlessly silence RFK is truly Orwellian.
SirGingerBeard@reddit
Maybe it’s because he got thousands of of people killed in Samoa lol
PhotographMyWife@reddit
That sort of thing has never really stopped Dems from supporting anyone.
Him and Tulsi both left the Democrat party for the right reasons. Smart move on both accounts.
sumit24021990@reddit
One problem
She is a woman and there is no way Americans are ever voting for a man over woman . It doesn't matter who that man is. It can literally be Osama Bin Laden
spidaL1C4@reddit
Good example of not checking what you typed before hitting enter..
sumit24021990@reddit

Lolol. The DNC is shyt yes but tulsi literally sold out on her principles. A lot of young dems loves her stance on Medicare for all. That was her signature. Then she tanked it and went with a party that will never establish universal healthcare. Pathetic
spidaL1C4@reddit
Um, you missed half the story. She also left a party that will definitely never establish universal health care, except during speeches!!, and she's never really given up on it either. Saying she tanked it is just spouting nonsense. She had every reason there is to abandon the dems, and when you join a new church the hymns have different lyrics. I'm not crazy about the lyrics either, but she definitely hasn't sold out her principles. Quite the opposite. She should have just knocked Hillary out cold. Ground and pound, and kicked her over to the Republicans where she always belonged.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
Her signature has ALWAYS BEEN "Stop regime change wars"... You know.. you don't gotta be here bruh. Whats the point of dipping in here just to throw in an uninformed two cents...
beavis617@reddit
So either deep down Tulsi believes in the way of MAGA or she's just an opportunistic scammer, or she was a Democrat who would have pounded Trump and MAGA in an election? Will the real Tulsi Gabbard please stand up, please stand up! Hmmmm Tulsi the Democrat at heart and now a Trump-MAGA scammer who sees an opportunity at wealth and power. Which is it? 🤔
spidaL1C4@reddit
You clearly weren't paying much attention..( besides to the echo chamber)
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
Neither. I dont know if you familiar with rap drama. But it was a dude name Tekashi69. Known widely as a snitch. Tgroupolice about the criminal shit his crew was doing, etc... After everybody ragged on him he finally said yea i snitched because the ppl that i snitched on robbed me, beat me up, slept with my girl, kidnapped me, and all that. So its nithing to be loyal to... Same with Tulsi. They drug her through the mud after they knew who she was enough to lift her to some of the highest places in the party. And when she stood on those principles she got slandered and isolated, to say the least. Nothing was left for her, there. She was disenchanted and moved the hell on, as she should have
workitloud@reddit
Yep. She was the VP of the DNC until February of 2016. Saw the writing on the wall, as she wanted to back Bernie, and felt it was a conflict of interest.
Then they decided to destroy her. They had hijacked the whole Committee to back Clinton, and no one had a choice. Bernie got screwed, his supporters got sidelined, and a great percentage of them voted for Trump.
Clinton could have won & united the party by making Sanders her VP. I’ll bet you can’t remember her running mate.
They also changed their rules to prevent Gabbard from participating in the debates, and when she finally got in, beat the screaming shit out of all of them. She should have been the main candidate in 2020, as well.
wintermute916@reddit
Tim Caine was her running mate. I only know this because they made the same joke on SNL last weekend. Otherwise I couldn’t have told you.
Marjayoun@reddit
I remember because he is so crooked. Pretty much coerced/threatened Americans in VI for donations back then.
workitloud@reddit
Wonder if he got unalived in the process…
wintermute916@reddit
No that only happens when you cross the Clintons.
workitloud@reddit
He could have been blamed for her loss, everyone else was. :)
wintermute916@reddit
Oof, totally forgot about that blame game she was playing. Yeah that could’ve gone down lol, but he looked pretty alive on SNL.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
Everything you said. Its like a bad dream. Bad thing about it is it wasnt even a hindsight 20/20 type ordeal. It was all so obvious what was happening and what couldve and shouldve been done
workitloud@reddit
The freaks took over, and nothing was said. 2020 was a hideous joke with 2 candidates that couldn’t carry 4% of the D constituents. Their campaigns were broke, their credibility was shot. Media pulled the string 100% on that nightmare. Again, no one said a word, and the DNC voting body had no voice. Three election cycles, and the actual Democrats didn’t choose their own candidates.
beavis617@reddit
I take Kamala Harris over Tulsi Gabbard every time....no doubt about it. Tulsi's a Democrat and now she's all Trump loving MAGA cult member...gimme a break.
brainomancer@reddit
You lose elections over and over again specifically because you believe someone like Kamala Harris is more electable than someone like Tulsi Gabbard. Your cohort are so out of touch with what average voters want that it is destroying what is left of the country.
bigmt99@reddit
Yeah man Tulsi is an absolute phenom when it comes to winning elections. She pulled off the unbelievable upset of being elected to house in an 80% blue district and then parleyed that success into getting <1% of the vote in the presidential primary. Now, she plays surrogate to most far right president we’ve had since the civil rights era.
We should all take notes out of her book
joelcrb@reddit
You must be one of the clueless that think that kamala was amazing and really helped our country the last 4 years. She lied constantly, did nothing and then could only point fingers at the bad orange man and say, "Bad orange man." Without even any facts, debatable or not, to support herself! The word salad from her was 10x worse than biden, at least biden has declining mental capacity! What is her excuse for never having anything concrete or relevant to say??
We dodged a cannon ball with her and wishy washy Walz not getting elected.
Skyblewize@reddit
Uh she's a republican now Beavis..... pay attention
joelcrb@reddit
Heh heh heh heh heh. Ya buncha fart knockers.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
She was a progressive's progressive. The Bernie Sanders kind. But with backbone. And they tore her down over and over again. Rejected her style, which was far and away the most sensible approach (reach across the aisle to get things done rather than focus on things that divide)...
She'll always have my respect for that. And hopefully she gets a position where she can actually get some things done, since Democrats handcuffed her so much while she was on their side
matthew_strange@reddit
She never fit in there and she wouldn’t play their game. That’s why they turned on her in the first place.
antrod117@reddit
She’d never make it. She’s anti war and they will do everything possible to keep her from becoming a candidate because of it.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
Anti regime change war. Not anti war... But she is still not a super hawk. Which is a great thing imo
CJ4700@reddit
Yeah she’s a little too vague on the genocide in Gaza for me but she’s been pretty anti war otherwise.
antrod117@reddit
You’re right I should’ve been more specific
ATL4Life95@reddit
I would've voted Democrat.
nathan_speaks@reddit
Definitely. And I voted Trump thrice.
cyberfx1024@reddit
3 time Trump voter here and I would have definitely voted for Tulsi. I have said this repeatedly
uconn3386@reddit
Me too. Hell, I tried really hard to find a way to Kamala.
CharlesBathory@reddit
They had a Bernie Sanders and they made him shut up and bend over, they had Tulsi Gabbard and they pushed her out. They had Elon Musk and they pushed him out. They had Joe Rogan and they alienated him. They had RFK Junior on their side and they pushed him out also. And they still don’t get it
mariannecoffeecan@reddit
…but they did and here we are Thank you Tulsi!
1111joey1111@reddit
The Democratic party and Mainstream media called Bernie a communist and compared his movement to the Nazi movement. They called Tulsi a Russian asset (a traitor).
I was a Precinct Captain supporting Bernie in 2016. I will never forget the experience. During the primaries, some of the most ignorant people I have ever met were supporters of Hillary Clinton. I can say the same thing in 2020 regarding those supporting Joe Biden. My personal choices in 2016 were Bernie and Tulsi.
I'm not a Republican, but in my opinion the Democratic party is getting exactly what they deserve.
The American people and the world have suffered because of our political system, which is owned and controlled by two corporate parties.
Let's hope for more common sense, grass roots candidates. But, I doubt the Democrats will learn anything from this loss.
sendnewt_s@reddit
Tulsa is an absolute supporter of Trump now what does that say about her integrity?
Sithlordandsavior@reddit
That the democrats no longer hold the values she does and that they threw her under the bus so she has no reason to stay aligned with them?
leenis@reddit
they didn't throw her under the bus. she quit for money.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
100%
OuTiNNYC@reddit
Tulsi has more integrity than any leader we’ve had in the US in about 100 years. Anyone who thinks otherwise is misinformed.
But how do you suggest Tulsi’s support of Trump hurts her integrity? Because the slander campaigns against Trump have been baseless. The lawfare is corrupt.
Trump’s first appellate hearing was iklast month for his business records case and by the end of the hearing the prosecuting attorney’s spent more time arguing why they themselves should not be sanctioned by the court for bringing erroneous charges against at. He will win his appeals.
Bc he is innocent. Anyone with critical thinking skills willing to take an hour or so to gather the facts in these cases will come to the same conclusion. Bc it’s impossible not to.
So, if you’re talking about the lawfare and you don’t know the facts of the case, why are you questioning his
So, I’m curious what you’re questioning Trump’s integrity about?
joelcrb@reddit
If values align, how does staying with a party "just because" show more integrity? The party is NOT there for, of, and by the people. If they ever were, it's nothing like it now. They're pushing extreme agendas that don't fit everyone, even in their own party. Parties were never designed to be just a popularity contest or the "in-crowd" like the democrats are now. They're actually doing exactly what McCarthyism did in the 50s with socialism. You have to agree with me 100% or you're out. In today's vernacular, you're canceled and even worse, targeted with hate and violence. No, the democrats are not doing anything for the benefit of anything or anyone other than their bank account.
What's really so interesting from a sociological perspective is that they're doing exactly they've been accusing the Republicans of doing the last 4 years. Of course there's radical and extreme Republicans. But since they're in the minority, the canceling part at least doesn't happen. Definitely there's hate and violence though from the extremists.
Skyblewize@reddit
That she held onto it despite her entire party forfeiting theirs.
She is a fucking LEGEND as is RFK
Jaymac100@reddit
Maybe she'll be Secretary of Defense.
alucidexit@reddit
The frustrating aspect of this is you’re all arguing personality over policy. Kamala bad Tulsi good, why do people not like her that she sided with Trump?! Partisan politics!
I agree that Kamala bad. But not for the reasons you think. Not culture war lol. Cons act like Kamala is some extremist. She lost in part because she attempted to appeal to centrists and moderates. Those who think otherwise are not even remotely interested in actual policy and adhere to culture war shit where Kamala is some progressive commie leftist extremist… which she isn’t. She’s insanely center right in terms of policy. Walz beefed up police during BLM. This idea that she represented leftist ideas is straight laughable but appeals to fear mongering. The dems are insanely impotent corrupt neoliberals. Not remotely interested in progressive ideas.
Look at maps of donations during Sanders 2020 run. Neoliberals and by extension the DNC do not appeal to progressive or leftist ideas… but this switch up to propping up Tulsi and Trump as some kind of frustrated “gotcha!” in the face of that is equally as stupid since they do not stand for the same things remotely policy wise. It only makes sense if you’re some kind of rebel accelerationist… which is also stupid.
nkn_19@reddit
Agreed!!
traeville@reddit
No doubt bout dat. But let’s not disillusion ourselves — the establishment that runs DNC would rather lose to Trump than win with Tulsi.
CrayZonday@reddit
Tulsi would have stood no chance. People smell her grift from a mile away. Republicans only like her now because she endorsed Trump.
OpenEnded4802@reddit
gRiFt!
CrayZonday@reddit
Yep.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
Republicans started liking her waay back when she went on Joe Rogan when she ran for president.
CrayZonday@reddit
Cuz she was theoretically threatening Biden’s chances. The second she won the nomination Republicans would have started calling her a commie.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
The backbone part is whats important... Her political policies woild have no problem gaining traction. Her willingness to talk shit and talk tough like Trump can. Would push her over the hump. She isnt funny like Trump, but she doesnt say or do wild stuff that'd get her in trouble. Plus she'll talk to any damn body. Any media. Any time. She's the one that got away for the Democrats and they dont even know it
CrayZonday@reddit
She either never was a Democrat for real or she ceased to be in 2016 when she decided to court money and popularity over what’s right.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
I really despise when ppl go for the "grift" angle. Its intellectually lazy. She was absolutely a Democrat in the 2020 election cycle
CrayZonday@reddit
It’s a real phenomenon. Sorry your favorite politician is a grifter and you can’t see it.
TChadCannon@reddit (OP)
And i bet the only genuine political figures are the ones you like, huh.... smh
CrayZonday@reddit
I don’t really like any politicians let’s start there. However, I think there are some genuine politicians that suck out there. Tulsi just ain’t one of them.
WashedMasses@reddit
What are you even doing here
Skyblewize@reddit
She is a patriot, a soldier, and a highly intelligent woman who just so happens to be an eloquent communicator.
MMW she will be our first female commander in chief.

Yep. Her and RFK
HarveyMushman72@reddit
Yep. I don't blame her for leaving.
