Senior Living Communities

Hi Expats I'm looking for some advice. I'm looking for a country where I could find retirement communities. Does your country have any and are they nice? I'm especially interested in ones where you could live in a cottage and when you need more help you could move into an apartment or assisted living.
Thanks for your help.

Search Google and/or YouTube; I know there are several in different areas of Mexico as well as, I think, other LATM countries. Have Sheen several videos on these. I also think "International Living" magazine has had articles about this.

Thailand. Everything depends on what you can afford.
An expensive (for Thailand) place that’s super nice is called something like Vivo Bene in Chiang Mai. There’s a place where you can buy or rent a condo called Sunshine something in Hua Hin. Lots of cheaper options, too.

You really, really have to explain where you're coming from, and what your situation is. If you're already coming from the EU, many of those places, we can find something for you, and you don't have to apply for a visa.
If you're wealthy, maybe- there are visas in many of the places that are golden ticket visas, but that might not be in your budget.
If you're american- I posted something about this a while ago:
