I've got a buddy that lives in the area. Fortunately watching the fires going away from him. Apparently the winds are high and pushing it west. If you're in a line between the fire and the ocean, I would be prepared to evacuate at any time (when the winds are high, it's pretty difficult to stop the fire). Set your alarm clock to wake you throughout the night to keep an eye out. Your only warning might be flames in your yard.
