It will work but you depending on the games you play, resolution and settings you may not even get to use half the power of your GPU, because your CPU is so old.
Upgrade the CPU, RAM and motherboard when you can.

Looking at online videos seems like you'll be getting 15-25fps while flying

What is a good motherbord
failaip13@reddit
That's a very broad question that needs more detail why are you asking?

Does it have a pcie x16 slot?
Yes?
It'll work.

How do you check?
ZeroTheTyrant@reddit
Check the manual and/or look at the motherboard.

To expand on what u/failaip13 said, here's an fx 8350 compared to various Ryzen CPUs limited to 4 cores at 4.2Ghz, as an example, a 5600x normally boosts to 4.6 Ghz.
The fastest CPU on your board would be an fx 9590, which is basically just an fx 8350 clocked nearly 20% higher, so the Ryzen 1800x limited to 4 cores is still likely to be 30% faster, while a 5600x is around 130% faster.
