One of my all time favorite memories shooting is a .454 casull that shot the paper target off on impact. These guns are really fun. As another commenter said the weight of the gun does a lot of the work for you. The OP is shooting some very underpowered loads here though, full power has a much more noticeable recoil.

They're fun, but a bit of a novelty. They're fairly versatile though. I haven't shot a longer barrel one with full power rounds yet. The snub as shown is quite the handful if you're shooting full power ammo. That gun with the 700 grn pills from Underwood was the only time I've ever been worried about having a gun leave my hands. I've also shot a longer barrel model with Armscor ammo which is loaded to around .44 Magnum energy levels. In a larger gun it was incredibly docile and felt more like .38 special than a big bore magnum.

Manageable due weight of the revolver.
