Help my monitor exploded should I toss it?

Last week my monitor blew up(I think it was cause of a power shortage because my computer also turned off forcefully) and I already have a new monitor. I also replaced the power supply in my PC to be safe. I was just wondering whether or not I could salvage this monitor because it wouldn't turn on, so I took it apart to see what was the problem and I think I found it. One of the resistors blew up which would explain the burning smell I got when the blowup happened. Would it be possible to replace the board or send it for repair and if I did would I be saving any money?
For reference monitor is Acer VG272U Vbmiipx

Would it be possible to repair it yourself or send it out for repair? Potentially. Is it worth it? Unlikely.
Most monitors aren’t really meant to be repairable to any meaningful degree - especially not by the end user - so more often than not it’s a toss.

There are services to repair board components, but it would likely cost more than the monitor is worth, unless you can do it yourself.
May be worth checking if it was under warranty to see if it's covered, but that kind of damage is usually considered your fault and not covered in my experience. Get a surge protector, or ideally a battery backup UPS so it doesn't happen again.
