My toes keep getting wet when raining outside.

So as I'm writing this I'm taking my 30 minute break in the fuel Island. My toes and feet keep getting wet when it rains, and I'm concerned about the winter time for my toesies. I'm worried about the cold, and I'm considering leaving the industry. I've only been driving for 1 month. Any advice would be a big help.

Might I suggest driving a 2024 Volvo in the lowest possible trim without the front floor mats. You will be without a heat shield under the cabin floor, so you will feel every bit of the heat from underneath your toes all winter AND...bonus points...all summer long. Your toesies will be toast, I mean, toastie, regardless of your footwear selection. Best.

As long as it's a white volvo, and if my toesies get to toasty I can place them on the dash. All the drivers are gonna be jealous. Sounds like a dream come true.

Find the governor cut off to your air compressor on your white Volvo. I know you let it sneeze every minute because you like keeping fresh air in your break lines and won't fix the leak in it. Put your feet where the sneeze is to air dry your toesies.

The air pressure might push off my flip-flops, and it would be to much work to put them back on. My boss said he doesn't want to fix the air leak, so that way we know the airtanks are working. How did your know I drive a white volvo!? 😳

I have 2 other team drivers in the truck. I'll ask if they have any I can wear. I don't think so, because i haven't seen them wear them. 😔

This reminds me of a recent post, where someone got hit by a little bit of air from their glad hands. My heart goes out to you, and I sincerely regret your experience. We have GOT to overhaul this trucking industry, so that nobody has to work when it rains.

I thought so. Everyone wears them at my company in Chicago, so it's definitely part of the uniform. Maybe I should just air them out on the air vents while driving.
