What would you consider essential to buy before 2025?

With international developments, upcoming national leadership change, and new laws/tariffs/etc. coming into effect at the beginning of next year (among countless other changes we can anticipate and those we can't), what would you consider to be a "buy now" and why do you think the price or availability of that item will be affected so drastically?
Looking for anything from a certain OTC meds, to electronics, to food, to international products, anything!

A new timeline. I’ll try to find the link on Amazon. Might be on sale

Masks, gloves and hand san, an antivaxxer will be in charge of the FDA. You're on your own.

Not really a prepper item. But you should buy any appliances that need to be replaced now. If the new administration adds tariffs, then the price of appliances will skyrocket.

Buy? Buddy trump is in - it’s time to sell the shit you bought out of fear

Any prescription meds you need long term. RFK jr is gonna gut our access to vaccines and meds. Obamacare will be destroyed. Even if you have a valid prescription, costs will soar with no regulatory controls.

Starlink mini, anker power pack and a waterproof case for them. Could also get power adapters for dewalt or Milwaukee 18v batteries if you prefer that to an anker.
Besides that if you have a rifle / ammo / non perishable food / water and water filtration just work to clear any debt you may be carrying

For US folk? Choose one of the following 2 groups:
arable land in a stable democracy
passports
- or -
vaccines
solar panels
N95 masks
birth control
penelope5674@reddit
In the worst case unlikely scenario if America indeed became an autocracy idk if there will be any stable democracies left in the world, since America is supposed to be the leader of the free world

Get your vaccines if you don't have any

Why? They are neither safe or effective? Where was the huge die-off of the in-vaxxed? Unfortunately it’s the vaxxed that are dying

Based on the username, not sure if a joke or an idiot...
emilyennui89@reddit
Did a plague rat tell you that?
Odd-Afternoon-589@reddit
Hey don’t bring plague rats into this. Leave them alone.

LMAO

They are safe and effective. It would also really suck to die of tetanus from a random splinter or nail just because you heard a politician or talk show host said there was " a die off" of the vaxxed without any scientific source. Please be safe.

I've never had more food. Every time there is a good offer at my local shop (Lidl), I buy more than I need. Recent additions: canned vine leaves, aubergines in tomato sauce, pasta, sausages, peanut butter ...
Also, I make sure to go to the dentist at least once a year for check-up.
Last but not least, don't forget to stay in shape!
