Need monitor advice.

I am in the UK. I have just built a new PC with a Ryzen 7 7700x and a 4080 super. I already own 2 1080p 144fps monitors but I feel like it would be a waste to not upgrade my monitor to match my new build and take a foray unto 1440p.
Unfortunately I am clueless about monitors so would like advice on what to buy please. This will be my first time dipping my toes in to the 1440p world so I don't want to go crazy and would ideally spend £350 at the very maximum but less if it is possible and I would still get a good monitor.
I mainly play world of Warcraft but I will be doing work and playing some other games including shooters ( I could play shooters on my 1080p second monitor though).
I've tried looking but there's so many options I feel lost and out of my depth, any advice is greatly appreciated, sorry if I haven't given enough details, just ask if you need any more information.
Thanks!
