AliExpress 5700x3d help

I have heard that the 5700x3d on Aliexpress is a good deal, but I've never used the website and there are so many listings. How do I know which sellers are legit and what protections do I have if it's not? The cheapest price I see is $145.

I tend to avoid the sellers that show sales of under 1000 units myself.

Look at product reviews and seller ratings.
That said, a friend of mine recently bought 5700x3d for \~$140 on Aliexpress and was satisfied with his purchase, idk if that's the same seller you're looking at.

AliExpress is just a marketplace. The OP is asking for information on the actual companies you find there. There are dozens of sellers that advertise CPUs there.

Check if the seller has sold a lot of them and if they have good feedback.

These are both very easily faked on AliExpress. Take a look at the reviews next time you see one with 3000 reviews and you'll see, they are all copy and paste.
Comet Crash is the legit vendor that everyone here has used.

I bought off Comet Crash Global a couple of months ago. Look for a seller with lots of sales. Look for discount codes. For comparison, I bought my 5700x3d for $180 Canadian.

I've made hundreds of transactions on Ali over the years. I only ever had an issue with one - I bought a replacement keyboard for a Thinkpad and it came with 14 broken keys. I tried to get a refund from the seller but they refused on the grounds that the listing stated it came with no warranty. My response was that this typically means I have no recourse if something breaks, not that I should expect to receive a broken product.
I opened a dispute with AliExpress, and had to provide video evidence of the broken keyboard. Took a few weeks, but they decided in my favor and I got my money back.
