I bought a Ryzen 7 5700(non x or 3d, just the regular 5700) and I have a Ryzen 5 3400G and I need to update the BIOS but I can't. I tried on the website of ASrock, all the BIOS update files, and all of them on a flash drive WITH FAT32 formatted. And then I instant flash the drive and it says or "no image file found" or "Invalid file!".
I've tried everything, but I need other opinions, so please help =)

are you using the USB port labeled " bios" ?

hi, I'm using a 8gb usb drive, but how do i get it to the root directory?
Zestay-Taco@reddit
that means make sure the file is not in any folders. just in the base directory
so like f:\biosname.dat or whatever it is make sure youre not f:\biosversion\biosname.dat

I had unzipped it

might need to be zipped still. try both

hi whomad1215
I followed these steps multiple times already, but everyone has a issue of or the Invalid file! or the no image file found.

Did you extract the bios file to the flash drive? You don't just put the zip file on the flash drive.

yes I did
