I don't mean to make fun. VB was very popular back in its day. if you have something specific, don't hesitate to ask...

When I was 9 in 1997, or sometime in the following few years, I had VB3 so I could make AOL progs, it was exhilarating. Come to find out my grandpa used VB5 in his engineering firm and he gave me a copy of that. One day I went to his office and he spent a whole day with me and we made a Morse code translator, he was a radio operator on a ship. Great memory

Your class is teaching VB?

I had to do that too in college. I’m sorry. I’m so fucking sorry.
I don’t really have any advice for you as finding information on it was nightmarish for me back in 2015-17.

I use VB6 once in a while -- not as much as I used to. Here's a resource I've consulted now and then: http://www.thevbprogrammer.com/classic_vbtutorials.asp

Maybe find out the version of Visual Basic you need to use and then borrow a book on Visual Basic at the Internet Archive?

What exactly are you trying to do?
