I am looking to upgrade my PC in the next 6 months and was hoping for some assistance in what I should upgrade, the main goal is to get a 5080 when it comes out to move to 4K gaming. I currently game at 3440x1440 which is fantastic for my current system but I am concious about selling parts while they still have value to upgrade to the latest tech. I know its a bit of a guess and gamble for the right time but I feel like soon could be a good time. I am also aware my CPU is/may be holding me back to will need a new mobo to support the latest CPUs so feels like a good time for a system overhall. I also use my system for graphic design for heavy After Effects use and a touch of C4D. Gaming I trend towards the latest AAA games which i like to play on the highest settings possible so I believe the CPU isnt quite as important but I often see conflicting statements online.
