Absolutely moving my retirement date up a bit, as well as cut back on hours. I'm a subspecialist in an underserved area that is predominately MAGA (like, they wear the hat's into my office). The hospital has trouble recruiting to my area, and I'm a subspecialist. There will be pain to the locals but I'm gonna get the hell outta Dodge.

Harris voter, but I don’t think this is true. I think what's actually going to happen is that the stock market is going to do really well, while everyone that's not invested in stocks will get absolutely screwed, left behind, and be forced to work two full time jobs just to live pay-check to pay-check.

Basically an even more exaggerated version of the Have's and the Have's Nots that was already going on.

But Trump will claim the Economy is the strongest it's ever been because the stock market is at an all time high, even though 60% of the country will basically be living in poverty with very little way out.

I don't think recessions work like dental appointments or oil changes that you just become due for.

If he actually puts this into place, then yeah, that likely would cause a recession. Most of the things that come out of Trump's mouth are complete lies, though, so I'll believe the tariff plan is happening when it actually goes into effect. I don't think there will be that much support for it amongst other Republicans in Congress as they will know it's a bad idea and not want to cause a recession when they are in charge of everything.

Instead I just see a bunch of tax breaks for large corporations and the ultra wealthy along with deregulating businesses to allow them to cut costs including worker protections.

Again, all terrible things that I hate, but things that are generally good for short term stock market gains.
