Chevy Blazer
Hey Reddit,
I’m trying to decide whether to buy a 1982 Chevy Blzer right now for my first project car. However, this will be my first car in general and there are lots of problems with it that will require lots of money to be spent on it. I really want to buy it, but I do not know if I’m really ready for it. I’m willing to listen to advice and what to know for first time car owners/projects.
Thanks, and I’m looking forward to being part of this community.

Imo, if this is your first project, get a cheap reliable car for daily usage and then take your time getting the blazer sorted. Also make sure to check out the floor boards and make sure they aren’t rusted through. Replacing them properly is a lot of work. Also check the door jambs/rockers, and closely inspect the frame near the steering box.

if it runs and drives to get you where you want to go then I would do it.Just have some money and a decent mechanic ready to work on it when something needs attention? You can always put time in it when your off work or schooling.Thst baby is sweet looking.I like Don't see many on the road that clean these days
