I've been seeing it over the last few months where the clients WSUS / SCCM instance does patching, downloads and installs the patch and then reboots the device but the patches do not appear to take effect. The system then continuously appears to fails the download through Software Center and will redownload and install the patching and continously tell the end user to reboot on a daily basis or more.

I know we have tried to clear the cache before but that's failed. We have temp disabled the firewall on the client end and that fails too. Not sure if there is anything else we can do beside that? If all else fails we just reimage the device.
