Where to buy decent quality suits under 500 in London?

Hi everyone,
I’m moving to England in a couple of months for professional school. I’m looking to buy a couple of solid suits. I love British tailoring (drape cut, straight lines, etc) so I’m looking forward to shopping around. I’m from Canada so the slim fit look is the norm here which I’m not a huge fan of.
Can you please recommend stores that would be good to visit and and find suits under/around £500. I have an athletic build which makes off-the-rack difficult with the slim “Italian cut” jackets. So I’ve recently gone MTM but I’m aware that they are much more expensive. I’m happy to try out off-the-rack and get them tailored.
Thanks in advance!

Moss is very much just slim fit. John Lewis does a good suit.
Also, there are tailors up in Golders Green which will do alterations for £100 and make a rack suit from M&S look way better

I’m very much not slim fit and Moss has plenty of options.

I’ve been very pleased with ones I got from Charles Tyrwitt, they are also my go to for work shirts these days.

Matalan, primark, Lidl middle isle... maybe poundland, but it might extend past your £500 budget.

I'm going to love the Poundland suit. I'm picturing something made from two bin bags.
