I studied Programming in deep and I want to learn electronics (Analog and Digital)

I study Electronics in collage , I still have two years to graduate. My passion is programming,
I don't know if i study electronics or combine it with programming. Cause it is my actual major in college.
can i study both or it's impossible ?
I heard about EDA also that's why i am asking

It is absolutely possible. This was what actually my education was: electronics, telecommunication, controls, and programming.
If you want to start yourself, grab an Arduino kit, as has already been suggested, with sensors and actuators, and get going.

What exactly is the field I should be preparing for?
aqua_regis@reddit
Well, you'll have to start with basic electronics, electrical current, voltage, power, resistors, voltage dividers, current dividers and work your way up to diodes, transistors, etc. if you want to go all in.
Otherwise, as I said before get an Arduino starter kit and have fun.
Don't overthink.

i meant what will i be after this, Embedded systems ? Digital IC design ?
that's my point
i am already have sold electronics basics

but i heard that The job market for embedded systems is not very promising in terms of opportunities
ShadowRL7666@reddit
I could say that about the entire field.

if your passion is programming and you are studying electronics, you can improve yourself in embedded software field

No? What about all the IoT firms popping up everywhere. Embedded is bigger than ever.

Of course it's not impossible. Grab an Arduino kit and go to town.
