CFI Oral, the FOIs

I have been studying for my CFI oral for quite some time now and I feel super confident with everything except for the FOIs.
Do you present these like a lesson plan? Do they ask you questions and you answer like typical oral exam questions?
What should I study for these? I've read AIH multiple times, I've done all the lesson plans, but I still don't feel extremely confident. Any advice is helpful. thanks!

In the oral I have been asked to teach two lesson plans from the FOI. Then I was asked questions about the remaining part of them.

Will depend on the examiner I think. I practiced them as if I was teaching them to another CFI candidate. But during the oral it was just conversational and situation-based. DPE wanted to see that I could apply them in real world scenarios.

Yeah, mine was more of here's this scenario, how do you approach it?
Here's this behavior, what hazardous attitude is this?
Person is showing these tendencies, that denial or repression?

Thats basically the same as I've heard. FOI portion is just situational.

I briefed the learning method and others were done with Q&A.

Depends on the DPE. My DPE just sprinkled the FOI's throughout the rest of the oral. He'd tell a story or something and then at the end would say something like "now what Law of Learning was that?" If not for that question at the end, I would have thought we were just chatting about aviation and he was just telling an interesting story.

I had both “Walk me through Flight Instructor Responsibilities” (HEEMPS, PEEPPASS, MACKBAG) and situational questions where I had to actually demonstrate use of the FOIs.

I have seen it done as a “walk me through Task E” where you explained thing using the cheat codes like MACKBAG and elaborating as needed.
I have seen it be scenario based where the examiner sets the stage and you explain how you would work and solve the puzzle using the FOI’s.
It’s all up to how the examiner wants to go through them.
The good ones will use the opportunity to not only test your understanding, but provoke thought and maybe have a chance to share wisdom.

I was asked like a typical oral exam. "Tell me about the levels of learning..." Etc.
