It’s been probably 15 years since I watched the series! In my first re-watch and on season 2 and I’m lost lol When the hell did Callisto become an Immortal? I missed something!

If you're not going to watch Hercules, at least listen more carefully when you watch Xena. Callisto explained what happened to her when she talked to the rat.

she explained that Hercules trapped her in the ruins, she didn't mention eating the golden apple.

She ate the golden apple on Hercules season 3 episode "Surprise"

I've always said they should of left Callisto as immortal not upgraded her to goddesshood
jdpm1991@reddit
The only real good use of her being a goddess was in Hercules episode Armageddon Now

Okay true but the way I see it by her just being a immortal not a goddess she be like Hercules she be more interesting as a villain in both Hercules and Xena series because she be even more formidable opponent in both of those series she give them both a run for their money and I could see her in the modern world as a modern day war Lord or a dictator of some country.

I agree I wasn't a fan of goddess callisto as well Mortal Callisto reigns supreme.

But a immortal Callisto was even more interesting even though Hercules defeated her by imprisoning her in that temple she still gave the son of Zeus a hard time I still remember his lines to her the innocent child you were who lost her family has my sympathy and empathy but you chose darkness that's where my sympathy and empathy ends a very strong line's harsh but fair.

I did like seeing Callisto taunt Herc by threatening to torture his wife and children if he sent her back to the Underworld before getting the apples

Yeah I would like to have seen that he would of been motivated to rip her apart with his own bare hands

Yeah, you can watch that Hercules episode if you’d like, but it’s not massively necessary to the Xena storyline.

It was on an episode of Hercules
