Does anyone know of a 12VHPWR to PCIe 8 pin connector?

I have a PSU that has that new 12VHPWR GPU connector. But I have GPUs that need good old fashion PCIe 8 pin connectors. While it's common to have adapters that take 2-4 PCIe 8 pin connectors and adapt that to a single 12VHPWR connector. Is there an adapter that does the reverse and adapt a 12VHPWR connector to 2-4 PCIe 8 pin connectors?

I’m using a cablemod 12vhpwr connected to my thermaltake psu to a 3 8-pin cable connected to my evga 3090 and it works.

Sweet. Thanks.

What PSU make/model are you rocking? Happy to point you in the right direction, and answer any questions you may have. :)

Thanks. But it shouldn't matter should it? Since 12VHPWR is a standard. I'm looking for a cable to break out the 12VHPWR port on my PSU to PCIe 8 pin plugs.

Very welcome! It does on the non-standardized 12VHPWR cables though, yes. Native 12VHPWR cables appear to all be the same pinouts (at least on the ones we've tested). However, the 12VHPWR to 2x8, 3x8 or 4x8 variants do have pinouts that still need to be followed respective to the PSUs.

Wat about the msi mpg100g i would love this cable.... Hate the standard cables i have now

This PSU has the native 12VHPWR header as well, so you can use the universal 12V-2x6 cable from us as well.

This is not the cable i need. I need 12 vhhprw to 3x8 pin for my radeon..

Ah, gotcha, sorry. If you need 3x8 pin PCIE you can order those via our configurator page, here: https://store.cablemod.com/configurator/?service=direct&psu_brand=msi&psu_model=690
This would be for your PSU, and these would be direct replacement cables.

Your configuration is so confusing... Itdoeant show anything. How om a supposed to now wat cable to choose... Do i need the 3x8 broged one? Or. Another one . Im clueless and about to just give up.

Got it. I have a Coolermaster MWE Gold 1250. Do you make a cable that breaks out the 12VHPWR port on the PSU to PCIe 8 pins plugs?
CableMod_Matt@reddit
Unfortunately, we haven't confirmed compatibility on that specific model. You could grab our extensions if you would like one of those, but it wouldn't be a replacement cable, something to keep in mind. You could also recommend to our support team that we add compatibility for this PSU as well if you would like. :)

Thanks. But according to the cablemod rep in this sub, that's not going to work with my PSU.
freddiewouldgo@reddit
He told me it wouldn’t work the other way around but I tried it anyway and it did. If it didn’t work I woulda just returned it back on Amazon.

You know, I tried to discuss with him that it should work since both ends are a standard.
freddiewouldgo@reddit
That was the main reason I tried anyway 😂

That's the case with the connector that hooks up to the PSU. That's not a standard even if the physical connector is the same. But the two ends of a 12vhpwr and a PCIe 8 pin are. So it should work. That's the whole point of having standards.
freddiewouldgo@reddit
Totally agree. What did you end up doing when you first posted?

I bought a cable that was physically capable of fitting but was not wired properly electrically. I then repinned it electrically.
