Could you imagine being in a fire fight you know the shot is coming from that direction, then you hear a gobble and just see the turkey not the guy. Then you get hit, hear another gobble and you see the turkey run across to a new position, gobble, boom, your buddy goes down taking fire from the turkey’s position, you shoot your last shots, then you hear the gobble gobble right outside your cover.
Don't know about turkeys specifically but at least song birds actually do in a way! Because bird songs and calls are so loud they can damage their hearing (even worse when you look at how tiny their skulls are), their hair cells regenerate to combat and recover from hearing loss.
If you're flagging yourself while holstering, you're doing it wrong. If you're not training to reholster for DGU's, you're doing it wrong. If you're not able to practice the basics of proper reholstering, you're doing it wrong.

I would’ve appreciated if they used suppressors for the training.
Suck_The_Future@reddit
I would appreciate it if I could legally own suppressors in my state.
Drunken_Hamster@reddit
I'd appreciate it if they weren't NFA items at all and didn't cost an arm and a fuckin leg due to being as such.
annonimity2@reddit
I can't say I've ever heard of ear pro for a turkey. I've seen it for dogs though.

The use of a tactical turkey has been shown to confuse adversaries for 5-10 seconds allowing the operator ample time to engage the target.
Batsonworkshop@reddit
If someone charged into my house with a turkey in tow, I'd certainly be more confused than just someone breaking into my house.
chubsfrom205@reddit
Man, the folks at PETA are getting pretty prepared for Thanksgiving.
Batsonworkshop@reddit
Nah, PETA would be pointing the gun at the turkey. Their believe is "death is better than subjugation to humanity as a pet or food".
I know it's a joke, but people need to know how horrible an organization PETA is
