I'd say it's more related to what they were all saying about their friendship. Yes they're friends, close friends at that, but they used to spend more time with each other than with their families (when they were recording for their shows). So now that the show is over, they had time away from each other and finally started to miss each other. As for JC, doesn't he have a new season of his show to film right now?
